This project was so exciting! Kayla has been in business for more than a decade. Her portfolio is absolutely stunning and she is one of the most sought-after wedding photographer in her area. She initially reached out to me for a website refresh. After a few exchanges, we realized we needed to take a deeper look into her brand, portfolio and overall online presence.
We then worked hand in hand to uplevel her digital footprint towards what would become a fully elevated on-brand website.
The fun part: what was supposed to be a Showit website template customization turned into a mini brand refresh, semi custom website and clients guides designs. And I could not be more satisfied with the results!

Getting that elevated Western feeling

First, we reworked her logo and fine-tuned her color palette to reflect more her photography style. With new fonts and the addition of updated illustrations, we had a new elevated branding with a Western touch.
From there, the website needed to reflect that new look and here are a few things we have been focusing on: more negative space, work on the font hierarchy for both aesthetics and readability, be more intentional with the portfolio selection.
