I’m Joelle, French photographer, art director, visual expert.

I began my journey as a photographer in 2016, freshly settled in LA, and I haven't put my camera down since. Born in France but Californian by heart, I live for an ice cream cone and sunset on the beach and I have just reached 100,000+ photos on my phone (mostly of my two cats, nephews and any pretty thing that's catching my eye).

When I moved to America, I soon noticed that everyone around me was asking deep questions… who are you, what do you love, and what lights you up?... And I had no idea. For the longest time I had just blindly followed the "proper" path society led me to believe I wanted for myself (master degree, business school, first job, just keep working heads down...)... it was so refreshing and a bit disturbing. I had to look inward and see the reel me.

Meeting wild, weird, passionate souls helped me realize that my true calling is about embracing my feminine side. I simply met the creative in me. Aesthetics, design, photography, stories... were my new found passion. And if you feel like talking astrology too, I am down!

I believe stories are told with light and shadow – within a photograph and in real life. Stories are made of BEFORES and AFTERS – journeys of discovery that lead to creating a new life, even a business.

I have created éloge studio to capture the core essence of you and your business… that je ne sais quoi that makes you unique and stand out from the crowd. And it goes beyond photography because it lives in every little aspect of your business, starting with your brand and spreading to your portfolio, images, online presence, social media platforms and at every touch point with your clients.
